We're ready to face the challenge

To go further in one liter of fuel 

 

On July 6-9, 2011, the Technological Institute of the Philippines Manila's team Symmetry will race its vehicle under the prototype category in the 2011 Shell Eco-Marathon Asia at the International Circuit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Along with the other six (6) colleges, universities and techical institutions that will represent the Philippines in the said racing competition, TIP team is one of the participants who bravely took the challenge to build, design, and test a fuel efficient vehicle which could run the farthest distance using less fuel consumption.

We support EARTH hour 2011

  Last Saturday, March 26, at 8:30 p.m., we were urged to turn out lights for one hour for the fourth annual Earth hour. There is much discussion out there as to whether or not this actually addresses the real issue of power conservation or whether it’s just a token gesture. World Wildlife Fund encourages us to make this the first step in changing our habits and suggest ways to take action on different issues that can make a continual difference.
